My work explores questions of time, memory, sociopolitical climate and the advancement of life on this planet. I often use cheap, quotidian, recycled materials to create my sculptures. By recontextualizing everyday materials I am able to lead the viewer into thinking about something deeper.

I believe video is an analogous medium to these quotidian materials. Whether I present video forthright or as part of a sculpture it serves the same purpose...to clothe time in a different garment. When the role of time can be changed in our thinking then we have the opportunity to look more closely and think more freely.
