In the first three videos displayed (part of his digital video deconstruction series), David Romberg uses digital video to remix various forms of popular media including kung fu movies, pornography, and the horror genre, stripping them of their narrative content and leaving a repertoire of gestures, sound bites, zooming movements, and editing ticks. He produces new sequences, rhythms, expressions, silences, and pauses, patterns viewers might recognize as potentially meaningful but awkwardly senseless.

The last video shown is part of a recent series dealing with voyeurism, the use of seduction in art,and the recent phenomenom of the web cam sex industry. The video is from a live performance installation that took place at The Slought Foundation in Philadelphia during the opening of a show. During the show, a video of two girls, who were hidden in the gallery, was transmitted live into a dark room. Viewers entering the space were confronted with the video of two young girls, who through the aid of a hidden camera could see the viewers. The viewers, unaware, that they are being watched, become used as stimulation for the girls who are performing. The two girls interact with the viewers subtly, asking them to stay and watch, seducing them to participate in the work of art.
